Annual Ski Trip

Long weekend away skiing in TIGNES (arguably best all round resort in the alpes) for a value price! Also, it is before the new uni term starts, so this is open to university student members also.

2nd-6th January

Car hire

Sam is currently our designated driver as he is over 25 thus doesn't pay young driver suppliment.

3 day Lift pass for Espace Killy ski area (600km+ piste inc a link to Val D'isere) It is possible to get a pass for a smaller area for less money, but in the price above a full pass is included.

Ski/snowboard hire for 4 days (there is a series of free lifts next to the flat, so saturday afternoon can be used to brush up on skills!)

Accom is my parent's flat in Tignes Val Claret. It sleeps up to 4 people very comfortably, but 6 isn't a problem. Its even got a new kitchen (wow!), and is located right on the piste, which runs through the middle of town! So it's free, basically!

For those of ou with size 8 feet, i have a load of ski and snowboard boots that you can use, which obv work perfectly with my spare snowboards and skis....you're welcome to use
these.

The trip has now been confirmed as definately happening due to the amount of interest shown.

please note the flights details have changed, we are now flying to geneva as it will allow some extra time on the piste.

As a deposit for the trip, it has been decided that we will each individually book our snowboards own flights. Currently the cost of the flights (on 12th aug) is £45.98, and obv the longer you leave it to book it, the more expensive they will be.

When you book your flights, please let me know so that we can start discussing carhire etc, as again the earlier this is booked the better really.

I've just booked my flight, and I am SUPER stoked! Lets go do some riding!!

**UPDATE 14/8/09**

That's 6 people booked now, so if anyone else is wanting to come, please do contact me before you book anything, as there isn't any more space in the appartment really. We can arrange some alternative accommodation, particularly if there are 2 more people wishing to come, as we can get another 4 bed apparment for not very much money.
