District AGM Report 2009
Attached is the report we produced for this years AGM. It gives a summary of what we have achieved over the last 12 months, and what we have planned for the coming year.
New Members Camp 2009
This is our annual camp, to welcome in new members progressing from Explorers.
This will take place at Blackland Farm Guide Camp, with activities run by Mr Harry Spinks! The price is £20 per head, and will include camping, activities and food. If you wish to have a beer or two, please feel free to bring along your beverage of choice (strictly over 18s only).
The basic itinery is:
- Friday evening
- Arrive, Pitch Tents, Eat Dinner
- Possibly go to the pub, otherwise stay on campsite for fire
Sailing at Weir Wood, Barbecue, Camping @ Broadstone
Miss Skinner has a boat at Weir Wood Reservoir, which can take 2 - 3 people at a time. Which she has kindly offered to take us out on.
We will also be having a barbecue at the waters edge for those who aren't sailing.
Afterwards we'll head over to Broadstone and camp overnight.
Cost per head? Just the cost of the food + camping - TBC
